Ta'heel Goals
Ta’heel targets Lebanese children (age range 5-15) who suffer from psycho-educational problems. It provides them with Individual Educational Programs (IEP), and Counseling/ Rehabilitation Services, to help them succeed in school and life. This is done in coordination with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Affairs, and Ministry of Health.
Ta’heel reaches out to those children who experience school delay as the result of failure, learning difficulties: in reading, writing and mathematics. In addition to some psychological problems, like: anxiety, depression, low self- confidence, fear…
Also, Ta’heel targets the Gifted and Talented students of Special Needs. A professional team prepares rich environments that attend to their individual needs, to help them grow and develop to their fullest potential.
Ta’heel supports and helps parents who face difficulties in bringing up their children. Parents need information and guidance on how to help their children succeed. Parental Counseling Sessions, and Parental Awareness Seminars are scheduled on Thursdays.
Ta’heel conducts ongoing workshops, and Teacher Counselor Training Programs (TCTP), to meet the professional needs of teachers. It provides them with the most updated theories and practices in the field of Educational Psychology: Counseling, Special Education.


How does Ta'heel operate?
Observation, identification and diagnosis of the child’s problem/s
Providing parents with the counseling services necessary to help them solve their personal and family problems, and consequently their child
Designing Individualized Educational Plans for children who suffer from learning difficulties
Counseling children to help them become responsible, happy, and successful. And to prepare them become active and productive members in their society.
